A Gallifrey One special event. We are proud to bring you our annual symposium on Doctor Who academic topics, a special presentation of short lectures by convention attendees on a variety of topics, selected by Paul Booth and Joy Piedmont.  Presenters and topics at this year's TARDIS Talks session include:
  • 1:00pm - Stacey Smith?: "Keynote Address: Doctor Who and the Epidemics of Death"
  • 1:20pm - Thomas Rodebaugh and Naomi Jacobs: "Doctored Politics: Where Does the Doctor Fall on the Political Spectrum?"
  • 1:35pm - Emma O’Neill-Dietel: "The Space Museum: Museums, Identity, and Colonization in Doctor Who"
  • 1:50pm - Break
  • 2:00pm - Lena Barkin: "Want You or Want to Be You: Companion Relationships in New and Classic Who"
  • 2:15pm - Talia Franks: "Timey Wimey Entanglements: Critical Reception of Romance in the TARDIS from Tenrose to Thasmin"
